Shipping policy
COVID UPDATE - PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO COVID-19, COURIERS HAVE EXPERIENCED DELAYS IN SHIPPING TIMES. PACKAGE DELIVERY TIMES MAY BE EXTENDED. WHILE WE ATTEMPT TO DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO ENSURE THAT YOUR PACKAGE ARRIVES IN THE QUICKEST WAY POSSIBLE, SOME THINGS ARE UNFORTUNATELY BEYOND OUR CONTROL. SHIPPING
In order to maintain freshness Michael’s Mandel Bread only ships orders Monday through Wednesday each week. Orders need to be placed by Tuesday at 5pm EST to be shipped by Wednesday that week. Orders received after Tuesday at 5pm EST will be shipped the following Monday.
Based on your location Michael’s Mandel Bread will determine the best method of shipping (UPS or USPS) to ensure your package gets there the quickest was possible.
Please allow 1 day for handling time. Please allow 3-5 business days from the date the order is placed for your package to arrive. (package may arrive sooner).
Miami Dade and Broward County addresses should arrive within 1-2 business days after receiving the shipping confirmation email with your tracking number.
Expedited UPS Shipping
Please allow 1 day for handling time. Please allow 2-3 business days from the date the order is placed for your package to arrive (package may arrive sooner). Additional fees apply.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
You will receive several emails when you place an order with Michael’s Mandel Bread.
- An email confirmation when your order is placed.
- An email when your package has shipped with your tracking information.
- An email when your package has been delivered to the address provided
- We ask that you please be on the lookout for your package because our products are perishable.
TRACKING INFORMATION
- Use your tracking number to track the status of your package on www.usps.gov or www.ups.com.
- Deliveries typically occur during normal business hours.
- It may take up to 24 hours for your tracking number to appear in the tracking system. Please be patient.
DELIVERY
- If you did not receive the package and the USPS or UPS tracking system says it was delivered (with the correct address provided), you must call USPS or UPS directly.
- USPS and UPS drivers will only leave the package at a recipient's door, or other secure location, if the driver believes it is 'safe and reasonable' to do so.
- If a dispute arises regarding delivery, we will confirm the delivery status with USPS or UPS and use that as our basis for how to proceed.
- For gifts, we recommend that you notify gift recipients of their sweet surprise before the date of delivery to ensure that they are on the lookout for their delivery.
- If your package is returned to Michael’s Mandel Bread because of an incorrect address provided by the customer, such as a letter or number that is incorrect in the address, USPS and UPS will not deliver the package. All addresses provided by customers must be 100% correct including apt #, suite #, etc., unfortunately we cannot send a new package or issue a refund, a new order will need to be placed.
- Please DO NOT ship to hotels or hospitals. We are not responsible if they lose the package. You must coordinate with the hotel or hospital. We cannot be responsible if the package was delivered to the correct address and the hospital or hotel did not receive or deliver the package correctly.
